Flocculants and Auto Flocc Feeders

We’ve been working with flocculants for more than 15 years, testing different types and learning how to make them work properly in your water system. We offer our own proprietary Automatic Flocculant Dispenser system that will dispense active flocc particles in your settling ponds. This helps to clean up your ponds, and settles fine particles like cement much more quickly than gravity alone. Check it out here, we think you’ll like it.

Model S3 Slurry Separation Station

Precasters, check this one out. This is the system you need to work in your plant where there is no requirement and/or room for a settling pond.  We realize that you’re not ready-mix - you don’t typically need large, extensive settling ponds. The Model S3 is designed to collect the slurry from the reclaimer, capture the solids, and return clean water back to the reclaimer.  Works well with our Models M6 and R2 Reclaimers.

pH Control

Lower the pH level of your water. Using CO 2  to lower pH is a proven technique, and BFK is now pleased to offer the industry leader in pH Controls, the CO 2  Washout & Stormwater Treatment System from ATSI. ATSI has been in the pH game for over 25 years. It’s a great stand-alone system, or a perfect compliment to your Reclaimer system.

Spent Cement….Slurry….Water….

Here at BFK we believe in keeping your pond system “closed-loop”, whenever possible.  Keep the water in the ponds and use it for reclaiming and wash-out. That way, you don’t have to worry about releasing it, or the permitting requirements to do so.  Settling ponds are tried-and-true.  Proven concept. Most ready mix plants already have some form of washout pond system, and you probably already have a retention pond, to collect overflow and storm water run-off.  Hard to get around that, these days.  Many precast plants do not have settling ponds.  Don’t have the need, don’t have the room. We can work with almost any pond or pit system you already have.  We can recommend improvements, if needed, or design something altogether new. We can use flocculants to work with small, undersized pit systems, and super-absorbents to clean it all up before hauling it off. However, even if you keep your process water contained, sometimes you end up with too much water, and need to release it. High pH, heavy metals , TSS, and other issues keep you from doing so. BFK can help you with all of those issues. From settling pond design, to fines settlement & collection, to reduction of TSS, and lowering your pH.

CONCRETE RECLAIMER SYSTEMS & SOLUTIONS
BFK TECHNOLOGIES INC.

Settling Pond Designs

Understand this: you can have the best reclaimer design, but with a bad pond system, you won’t be happy. Here at BFK we offer custom settling pond layouts specific to your plant, Free-of-Charge even before you make your purchasing decision. Give us your plant address and we’ll Map it on Google to determine your existing pond set- up. Or email us a basic layout of what you currently have, and we’ll take it from there.

The “BFK Bunker” concept

With help from many industry leaders, both customers and vendors, we helped develop what we call the “BFK Bunker”. The bunker allows you to collect a lot of your fines long before they even enter your pond system. Minimize the solids load on your pond system, let us show you how.

Slurry Solidification

Does this sound like your plant? “When I clean out the settling ponds, the wet cement is too sloppy to load into trucks for disposal” “Even if I let it dry for a week, if it rains, it turns to muck again and I have to wait another week. What a mess!” If this is your concern, consider using a non- hazardous super absorbent, to solidify the solids and make your pile of spent cement  “load-able”.
"…look forward to working with you guys, we gravitate toward companies with their “feet on the ground.”

Filter Press

We don’t build ‘em, we rarely even sell ‘em. But if you’re looking for one, we can hook you up with a press company that cuts no corners. We’ve heard all the sale pitches about automatic operation, no operator needed, pitch after pitch after pitch.   “Plug ‘em in and walk away”. Yeah right. Like BFK, they’ll lay it out for you, what to expect and what not to expect. No more, no less.
